Composting in Action!

Children from Charlton Primary School in Wantage had a great time at Agrivert's compost site with the Northmoor Trust's Wild Waste Show.

The children, all members of the school's Eco-Group, discovered how compost is made from their garden waste thanks to a fun, hand-on (and hands-in!) tour from Agrivert staff.

Back at school, the Wild Waste Show helped children prepare a lively assembly to share their experience with the rest of the school.

Charlton School are eager recyclers and composters and are well on their way to achieving the ultimate Green Flag Eco Schools Award.

Why not make your own mini-composter at home or in school? The Wild Waste Show's Activity Pack has easy-to-follow instructions.
