Primary School Visits

We have two exciting Activity Programmes to offer Primary Schools.

  • Wild Waste Bus - activities onboard the bus
  • Outreach Programme - classroom based activities

Wild Waste Bus visit
The fully equipped bus comes to your school with two experienced education officers who run interactive workshops for all primary age pupils.

We can tailor an Activity Programme that best meets your needs. Paper making, Rubbish Relay or the Litter Challenge are just some of the activities to choose from.

Outreach Programme
Maybe the bus is fully booked, or you'd like a visit from someone to link into this term's environmental topic?

Our Wild Waste Outreach Officer can offer workshops around waste and recycling in your classroom. Outreach Programme > >

Would you like us to visit you?
If you would like to receive more information or would like to book a bus visit, please email the Wild Waste Show.

Visits are free of charge, but we do appreciate donations of a (suggested) £1 per child, or a litre bottle of any new vegetable oil to pour into our new smartvegtm fuel tank.

Smartveg, produced by local company futuretec, is a system that allows diesel vehicles to operate on eco-friendly vegetable oil. Click on the smartveg logo to find out more.

The Wild Waste Show is fully funded by Oxfordshire's District and County Councils from April 2006 - 2008
