The Twelve Eco Days of Christmas
By the Eco-Warriors from Middle Barton Primary School

On the first day of Christmas my true love said to me “Take a bag to put your shopping in”.

On the second day of Christmas my true love said to me “Switch off your lights”.

On the third day of Christmas my true love said to me “Email your cards”.

On the fourth day of Christmas my true love said to me “Turn down your heating”.

On the fifth day of Christmas my true love said to me “Don’t buy too much food”.

On the sixth day of Christmas my true love said to me “Give old toys away”.

On the seventh day of Christmas my true love said to me “Re-use your wrapping”.

On the eighth day of Christmas my true love said to me “Make your own mince pies.”

On the ninth day of Christmas my true love said to me “Compost your paper”.

On the tenth day of Christmas my true love said to me “Reduce your waste”.

On the eleventh day of Christmas my true love said to me “Compost the tree”.

On the twelfth day of Christmas my true love said to me “Recycle bottles.”
