Tree O Clock at the Northmoor Trust Estate, Little Wittenham, Oxfordshire

As part of National Tree Week, BBC Breathing Places and the Northmoor Trust invite you to help set a new Guiness World Record for planting the most trees in one hour, in multiple locations.

Date: Saturday 5th December 2009
Time: 10am - 3pm
Location: Little Wittenham Wood, Little Wittenham, Abingdon, Oxon OX14 4QZ
Parking: Please park at the Northmoor Trust Hill Farm centre. Signs from the car park will direct you to the woods. There is a walk of about 25 minutes from the car park to the woods so please allow plenty of time.. After the recent rain the paths may be slippery, so please wear appropriate footwear.

Be part of the country's biggest tree planting event!

Tree O Clock aims to plant a million trees on Saturday 5th December between 11am - 12noon across the UK.

Come along and help us plant 100 trees between 11am - 12noon to create a new coppice coupe on the Northmoor Trust Estate. All trees and tools supplied, but wrap up warm and wear wellies and gloves.

Although the world record is between 11am - 12noon, we have 600 trees to plant and welcome volunteers any time between 10am - 3pm. Please come early to avoid disappointment.

Dogs welcome but must be on leads.
