Timber Framing Rendezvous

Timber started arriving on July 4th and from then, a daily log of the progress of the cutting, assembly and completion of framing on 24th July, has been compiled and can be viewed here.
The daily picture log tells an amazing story but it is hard to convey the wonderful spirit that drove this project forward. A truly international cast of characters, from experienced carpenters to complete novices, young and old, male and female, all with a common purpose to create a beautiful structure of the highest quality.
The weather was mostly ideal which helped to keep the project on schedule and the morale high. Some participants experienced something life-changing, others had seen similar on previous projects, but everyone had an unforgettable experience in wonderful surroundings.
The cutting field is slowly returning to pasture and specialist trades are all doing their bit to complete the work before the end of 2005. It will be a fantastic place to work and will be a lasting tribute to those that were there.
