22nd July Progress Diary

A grey day and cooler but with less wind; pretty much ideal for working with large sections on a crane. Good progress was made on getting the larger wall sections into position and securing to the tower. An evening trip to Great Coxwell, for those that missed the earlier visit was popular.

Significant progress had been made by mid morning

Back on the cutting site, Pat Corish and Peter van Diepen are reviewing progress

Do we think that Silas might follow in his father's footsteps?!

An early evening shot from higher up. Floor joists can be seen in rear section

Another high view gives a good impression of the day's achievements. The lantern can just be seen behind.
