Lambing Weekends

Fun on the farm for all the family! Find out about sheep production, meet our farmers, take a tractor and trailer ride around the farm and maybe see a lamb being born!
Date: Weekends 20th & 21st and 27th & 28th March 2010
Time: 10am - 4pm
Cost: Family £10 (2 adults and up to 2 children), Adult £4, Child £2. Northmoor Trust Friends and under 2s Free.
Location: Hill Farm, Little Wittenham, Abingdon, Oxon OX14 4QZ
Booking: No need to book, just turn up!
We look forward to welcoming you to our real working farm for our lambing weekends. This year our lambing weekends are a joint partnership with Camilla and Roly.
- Come and learn about sheep production with our farmers Roly and Camilla
- Meet the sheep and maybe see a lamb being born
- Tractor and trailer rides
- Sunday craft market
- Farm activities, sheep games and puzzles
- Make a giant rag rug onboard our famous Wild Waste Show Bus
- Bushcraft adventures and activities
- Delicious homemade cakes and soup will be on sale in our cosy Poem Tree refreshment area.
Pregnant women are advised not to visit the lambing sheds and no dogs please.
**Would you like to help out?**
We would love to hear from you if you can spare a couple of hours to help out at our lambing days. We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help take entrance fees, organise car parks, sell merchandise and be on-hand in the Project Timescape exhibition centre.
