Children's Food Festival:
Vote For the UK's Favourite Children's Dish
Thank you to everyone who took part in our vote to find out the UK's favourite children's meal. The tasty green combo won by a healthy margin, beating macaroni and toad in the hole to tickle more kids’ palates than any other popular dinner.
It’s official - children’s favourite food is pasta and pesto.
The final results were:
1st: Pasta and Pesto (18%)
2nd: Macaroni Cheese (12 %)
3rd: Toad in the Hole (9%)
4th: Spaghetti Bolognaise (8%)
5th: Bangers and Mash (7 %)
6th: Chinese Stir Fry (6%)
7th: Chicken and Chips (6 %)
8th: Chicken Curry (5%)
9th: Roast Dinner (4%
10th: Pizza (3%)
Other meals with less than 3% of votes include: fish, fish and chips, pancakes, pasta with a range of sauces, soup, steak and chips, chips, lasagne, lamb chops and sushi.
