Reading National Trust Volunteers
We are a group of people who carry out practical conservation tasks for the National Trust (NT) on its estates and woodlands.

Ecology

Hurst Water Meadow Trust
The Hurst Water Meadow is an island lying between the River Thame and the Overy millstream near Dorchester-on-Thames. In winter it is usually flooded for a few days. This helps to maintain the natural fertility of the soil.

Oxfordshire Nature Conservation Forum (ONCF)
Established in 1993 to draw together the many interests that touch upon wildlife and landscape in Oxfordshire. Co-ordinates Oxfordshire's Biodiversity Action Plan.

Withy Mead Nature Reserve
Withy Mead Nature Reserve is a newly-created (2005) nature reserve bordering the Thames near Goring. The Reserve is famous for its Loddon Lilies. Birdlife is also notable, as is the history of the former boatyard.
